Privacy Notice

This notice covers GlamIQ's role as controller of business-owner accounts and website visitors. If you booked with a salon that uses GlamIQ, that salon is the controller of your booking data and processes it under its own privacy notice - GlamIQ acts as its processor.
Who we are
GlamIQ is a booking-assistant service operated by OS Business Solutions Ltd (trading as Quietwork), company no. 07151938 (England & Wales), registered office Rhiwlas, Caergeiliog, Holyhead, Wales, LL65 3YE. We are the data controller for the information described below. Contact: [email protected]. What we collect & why
If you run a business with us (account holder):
- Account & contact: business name, your name, email, phone, login (password stored hashed). To provide and secure your account.
- Subscription/billing: plan, fees. To manage the service and payments.
- Support & service comms: correspondence with us. To support you and notify you of changes.
If you visit glamiq.co.uk:
- Enquiries: name, email, phone you submit. To respond to you.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4), loaded only if you accept analytics cookies - pseudonymous usage/device data. To improve the site.
Lawful bases
- Contract - to provide your account/subscription.
- Legitimate interests - securing the service, responding to enquiries, service communications.
- Consent - analytics cookies (Google Analytics); you can decline, and withdraw any time.
Who we share it with
We use trusted sub-processors (hosting, Ai chatbot, email/calendar, CDN, analytics); our current sub-processor list is available on request. Some are outside the UK (e.g. the USA); transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Account data: for the life of your contract plus a reasonable period for our records. Enquiries: 12 months. Chat transcripts: up to 12 months. Our full retention policy is available on request.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] - we respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular encrypted backups. A summary of our security measures is available on request.
