Primrose Thai Spa: 31 bookings in the first week. 10 of them while the spa was shut.
Rose runs Primrose Thai Spa in Llanfairfechan single-handed. Until this summer, she was also the booking system.
I handled every booking myself through WhatsApp and Facebook messages. As my business grew, it became harder and harder to keep up. I was constantly checking messages, updating my diary between clients, and replying in the evenings or even on my days off.Rose, Primrose Thai Spa
Doing it all had consequences. "I even accidentally double-booked clients a few times. It sounds funny now, but when you're running a business on your own, appointments can easily overlap."
In June, Rose became GlamIQ's first business, testing the system with her regulars as our design partner. On 1 July, she opened it to everyone.
Her first week
The after-hours list tells its own story.
Booked, confirmed and reminded while Rose slept.
I never realised how many people wanted to book in the evenings until I didn't have to be the one replying anymore.Rose, Primrose Thai Spa
Her diary syncs both ways with her calendar now, so the double bookings are gone. The moment it clicked? "Waking up to new bookings that had come in overnight, or while I was on holiday. That was when I realised this was exactly what I'd been looking for. It finally felt like I had an assistant, instead of trying to do absolutely everything myself."
Primrose Thai Spa, Llanfairfechan. Live on GlamIQ since June 2026.
